Why Water Safety Matters
Water is part of everyday life, from swimming and recreation to fishing, transport and work. But without the right knowledge and skills, simple activities around water can become emergencies.
Drowning is preventable. Water safety education, swimming skills, lifesaving training and effective emergency response can help people recognize risks, prevent incidents and respond when lives are at risk.
At GLLSS, we work to build safer communities by equipping people with practical knowledge and skills that can help prevent drowning and save lives.
